If you lived in Quincy, Illinois from 1924-1982, you almost certainly spent some time at the Washington Theater. With its fantastic marquee, gigantic screen and spectacular atmosphere, there was no better place to see a movie. Now, as part of the Washington Theater Redevelopment Project, we want to share your experiences by gathering together your stories, photos, anecdotes, little known facts and memories - both as a historical record and as a way to show how the theater impacted the lives of people who grew up in Quincy.
